Wedding date set

Well, Clive and Jo have set a date for their wedding. The 18th April, 2009. That is 102 days away. That should be enough time to get everything planned - although come to think of it, it doesn't seem like much time at all.

The only downside is that Clive's best man will not be able to make the 18th as his wife is having their first baby. Which is marvelous, but Dave and Sherrin will really be missed.

So Jo is in the throes of much planning. Clive thinks she is amazing. He realizes there is so much to plan and is so grateful she has a bunch of friends and family around her that are helping to plan everything. Clive is also really excited about gearing his house up for companionship – sometimes when a house is occupied by one, things can slide. He just applied for ADSL and a telephone today. He is quite concerned though about cupboard space. Jo may be petit, but she sure has a lot of clothes. Clive fears getting dressed in the spare room every morning.

So now that the date has been formalized and the DJ is available (Eric Rae) as well as the caterer (Jenny Ambler caterer extraordinaire), and of course the venue – Glenridge Church. We just need to finalize the availability of the person who will marry us and a photographer. Those see to be the main make-or-break components.

  1. I don't think I understand: why would you need to get dressed in the spare room? Would jo's clothes completely overwhelm the bedroom?
